Cinema Education in the Hermitage This programme which has been conducted for 4 years by a famous cinema critic Yury Shuisky is one of the most popular among the Youth Centre programmes. The goal of the programme is to introduce the young people to the history and specific features of the idiom of cinema which became an important part of the visual art of the 20th - early 21st centuries. The programme is devoted to the history of the world cinema, including the latest premieres and film festivals. It combines lectures and the showing of films created by the leading Russian and foreign directors, meetings with the authors of the films and retrospective showing of the masterpieces devoted to the memorable dates. |
