International Hermitage Friends' Club invites its members to the annual meeting, Hermitage Friends' Day, which will take place on December 8, 2008.

Guests are invited to walk by themselves through the temporary exhibitions opened this evening especially for the Friends:

one-day exhibition "A Ball: the Joy of Every Guest!.."

exhibition "At the Foot of Mt. Ararat"

• Alexander Hall
  
preview of the exhibition "West European Silver of the 16th-19th centuries" before its official opening

• Foyer of the Hermitage Theatre
  
exhibitions "Hermitage in Publications - 2008" and "Hermitage in Photographs - 2008"

• Welcoming words of Prof. Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage Museum
  
• Honorary Diplomas bestowed on the Sponsors of the State Hermitage Museum
  
• Concert of the State Hermitage Orchestra and ballet soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre:
  
1. Petr Chaikovsky. Waltz from the ballet The Sleeping Beauty
   
2. Adolphe Adan. Pas de deux from the ballet Corsair. Performed by Nikita Shcheglov and Elena Sheshina, soloists of the Mariinsky Theatre and prize-winners of international competitions
